Building – Responsible for code enforcement of buildings.
Chief Administrative Officer –

City Attorney – The Civil Division represents the City in all legal matters and compiles contracts, ordinances, resolutions and other documents necessary for operation of City government. The Criminal Division prosecutes misdemeanor criminal cases in Municipal Court.
City Clerk – Responsible for council agenda, agenda information and minutes; recording, storing, and retrieving of City documents including contracts and agreements; procurement; boards and commissions; and Channel 9.
Community and Economic Development – Responsible for services related to information and access to development tools, incentives, business attraction and expansion activities and the business revolving loan fund.
Finance – Responsible for all activities concerning City finances including investment, financial reporting and fulfilling regulatory requirements.
Fire – Provides fire safety education and fire code enforcement along with emergency medical services within the City or district limits.
Human ResourcesJob applications, recruitment, screening, testing, interviewing; maintains personnel files including sick and vacation records.
Mayor and City Council – Legislative body of the City, enacts ordinances, establishes policy, adopts budget and sets service fees.
Municipal Court – Handles misdemeanor criminal cases, ordinance violations and civil cases.
Parks and Recreation – Maintenance of City-owned parks and recreation facilities and administers recreation programs.
Planning – Responsible for: subdivision review, zoning admin, sign permitting, lighting standards, code enforcement, floodplain admin, capital improvements planning, and growth policy development and implementation.
Police – Patrol and observation; response to calls; arrests; reports; accident and crime investigations.
Public Works – Responsible for the design, construction, maintenance and administration of City’s infrastructure.
Wastewater Treatment – Treats domestic wastewater.
